Have you heard the news? We love our city so much that we teamed up with LA Original to create the most Los Angeles inspired ice cream sammie we could possibly think of. Let us assure you, it was no way task.

Should we go citrusy to celebrate the golden state or something more simple and diverse? Is LA chocolate-y? Or spicy?

Well, we tried just about all the combinations possible (it’s a hard job but someone has to do it) and came up with, what we think, is a pretty stellar representation of our city.

Horchata ice cream with churro dough pieces sandwiches between two snickerdoodle cookies!

We took our cult classic Street Cart Churro Dough ice cream and made it even more street-foodie with a large glass of ice cold horchata. If that doesn’t say late night taco truck, we don’t know what does!

A portion of the proceeds from each sammie sold will go to supporting the Downtown Women’s Center’s “Made by DWC” program that teaches job training and maker skills to women transitioning out of homelessness.
