We started churning out ice cream in 2008 & towed a broken down truck to a music festival. All our flavors are just as adventurous, and we love em for it. We threw all rules out the window when making our Dirty Mint Chip flavor! Our ice cream base is sweetened with brown sugar to create luscious and soft ice cream to balance the cool taste of herbaceous, organic spearmint leaves. No other mint ice cream will give you the satisfaction of that “just plucked out of the garden” taste!

  • Can one brand make incredible dairy products AND dairy-free products?

    No doubt! While our original line was all dairy, all the time, our dairy-free line (available in sammies and cones) is made from an extremely innovative base of peas, brown rice, and cocoa butter. It's the 'creamiest' vegan base out there!

  • What is a women & LGBTQ+ founded brand?

    This means that our origins speak to diverse founders! Coolhaus was created by a lesbian couple, Natasha and Freya, who are now married with two children, so we are mom-founded and led too!

  • Can I mix and match pints, sammies, multipacks, and cones??

    Absolutely! We highly recommend you try everything we make.

  • Is Coolhaus ice cream Kosher?

    We are not Kosher certified at this time.

  • What is animal-free dairy?

    Animal-free dairy is dairy made without the cow.

    Our animal-free dairy products contain non-animal whey protein, made by Perfect Day. This non-animal whey protein is the same as whey protein from a cow, but made in a process called precision fermentation (a lot like brewing beer) with no cows involved.   • Can I choose what day my ice cream is delivered?

    No can do. Orders are shipped based on transit time. You will receive tracking information once it has been shipped. We ship Monday through Thursday.

  • Tell me more about Shipping Estimates.

    Packages are sent via Ground and arrive between one to three days from shipment date. Shipment is automatically upgraded from Ground (at no cost to you) if Ground can't ensure delivery within three days. We ship Monday through Thursday. Your package will likely arrive Tuesday through Friday.

    Your package will arrive in five to ten business days (or less) from the day you place your order, weather events permitting.

  • When do you ship?

    We ship Monday through Thursday using UPS or FedEx. Our frozen shipments can’t be in transit over the weekend so we are not able to deliver your package on a Saturday, Sunday, Monday. We do not ship on holidays. We do not ship outside of the United States.

  • Where can I find tracking information?

    When the shipping label is created you will receive an email with your tracking number.
